Project Background

The residents of Diva city, particularly those from economically weaker sections, face limited access to quality healthcare services. Routine health check-ups are often neglected, leading to undiagnosed medical conditions. Additionally, there is a growing demand for blood in hospitals, especially during emergencies. This camp is designed to bridge these gaps by providing free medical check-ups and encouraging blood donation to save lives.

Objective

• To provide free medical check-ups for approximately 1,000 residents of Diva      city.
• To create awareness about preventive healthcare and lifestyle diseases.
• To collect at least 200 units of blood to support local blood banks and      hospitals.

Scope of the Project

• Target Beneficiaries: Approximately 1,000 individuals from low-income      families.

Implementation Plan

Phase 1: Pre-Camp Preparation

• Community Awareness:
  • Distribute flyers, posters, and social media campaigns to spread awareness.
  • Collaborate with local community leaders and NGOs for outreach.
• Vendor Selection:
  • Partner with local hospitals and diagnostic centres to provide doctors, nurses,       and technicians.
  • Collaborate with a blood bank for equipment and blood collection.

Phase 2: Camp Execution

Day 1: Medical Health Check-Up

• General health check-ups (height, weight, BMI, blood pressure).
• Screenings for diabetes, hypertension, and other lifestyle diseases.
• Specialist consultations (general physician, pediatricians, gynecologists, etc.).
